Summary (8)
Doyles Room is a new and rapidly growing online poker destination associated with Doyle Brunson, a living poker legend. Already
it is experiencing impressive traffic numbers especially when it comes to tournaments. It might
get even more crowded considering the $700 Million dollar offer by Doyal and partners to buy the World Poker
Tour, the most successful poker show on TV. This would make Dolyes Room the official sponsor of the WPT producing
a huge jump in its notoriety and popularity. Mike Caro, the “Mad Genius” of poker, is also part of Doyle's
team providing visitors with useful tips and tactics. Doyal has recently released the follow up to his
famous Super System dubbed “The Bible of Poker” and DoylesRoom.com is the only place in the world to
get the exclusive hardcover special edition of The Super System 2. The software is fast with a nice
interface offering great playability. The game variety is a little low with only Hold’em, Omaha and
Omaha Hi Lo games being offered but 7-Card-Stud is going to be added shortly. Tournaments are offered
in both single and multi table formats with plenty of free rolls going on all the time. Definitely a smart
online poker choice, you won’t be disappointed when you buy-in to Doyles Room. It’s a pleasurable
and usually profitable experience thanks to the casino traffic.

Software & Graphics (9)
Doyles Rooms software is developed by Tribeca Tables and features great functionality and features like buddy lists, pot and no-limit ring games, private tables, live floor managers and multi-table tournaments. The statistics features are ok but the lobby information does not provide a view flop percentage. Overall the software is good and the graphics are excellent with a sleek look and feel.

Ring & Tournament Traffic (8.5)
On Doyles Room the traffic is concentrated towards Hold’em fixed limit ring games and tournaments. Expect to find upwards of 5,000 real money players at peak hours with a high percentage of the traffic devoted to tournaments. Their growth has been tremendous over the last 12 months due to their aggressive advertising campaigns, fat bonuses and their association with poker's most recognisable icon, Doyle Brunson. Expect a massive jump in traffic if the Brunsons' proposed $700 Million deal to buy the WPT is accepted making Doyles Room the premier sponsor of the most popular poker show out there.

Rake (6)
Featuring a “No Flop – No Drop” policy like most online card rooms (meaning that if a hand does not advance past the first round of betting no rake is taken), Doyles Rooms rake is amongst the industry average overall. A maximum of $1 is taken out of pots at the $1/$2 levels and a $3 maximum on all other tables (except the micro-limits).
|
Soft Competetion (8.5)
Due to the association with online casino Golden Palace and online sports book guru Victor Chandler, there seems to be a never ending supply of flop crazy wild players looking for action. The view-flop-percentage at the $5/$10 levels is usually in the range of 80%. Playing on Doyles Room can be very lucrative for your above average player offering tons of loose action in Hold’em, mostly in the lower stalks which offer a great hourly earning rate potentially. The supply of fish seems endless at Doyles Room.
